Joan Cutrina (1976, Barcelona)
He worked as a head of production on actor Jordi Mollà´s short film as a director (1995). He worked as a production coordinator for Media Park Studios (1997), and collaborates in cinema and television projects with Universal Pictures Spain, Televisió de Catalunya, and Via Digital (1999). He founded the companies Magma Films SL, Guerrilla Films Barcelona SL, and Genco Films SL, producing during 14 years TV programs, fiction, and documentaries broadcasted for companies such MTV, Sogecable, Canal Plus, Televisión Española, Televisió de Catalunya, Canal Arte and Via Digital.
He produced the awarded strong social documentary "One dollar the price of life" (2001), (Awards: Havana Film Festival, Texas Film Festival Cine las Americas, Documenta Madrid, Docúpolis Barcelona).
He directed the documentaries “Professionals, the most dangerous bank robbers in Spain" with Televisió de Catalunya and Televisión Española (2005) and "Facing the Sea” with Canal Arte and Televisió de Catalunya (2006).
He also worked on production and filmmaking in music videos, publicity campaigns and concerts for Laiguana Studio with artists like Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, David Bisbal, Marta Sanchez and Loquillo among others.
His first fiction feature film as a director was “Alpha” (2013).
He also directed the international television series 12x25 "So Good" (2014) . His second feature film is “Bilderberg, the movie”, (2016).
